CM Yogi's Varanasi Visit: A Boost for Sanskrit Education and Spiritual Connection

Get ready, Varanasi! Our beloved Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is coming to town, and he's bringing some exciting news for Sanskrit students across Uttar Pradesh. Let's dive into the details of his action-packed visit!

A Special Day for Sanskrit Scholars

CM Yogi is all set to launch a scholarship scheme that will benefit around 70,000 Sanskrit students throughout the state. Isn't that amazing? If you're a Sanskrit student who scored more than 50% marks, congratulations! You might just be eligible for this scholarship.

The grand event will take place at Sampurnanand Sanskrit University campus at 11 AM. It's going to be a big celebration of our rich cultural heritage and the importance of Sanskrit education.

CM Yogi's Itinerary: From Helicopters to Temples

Our CM sure knows how to make an entrance! He'll be arriving at the Police Line helipad at 10:45 AM. From there, he'll head straight to the university campus for the scholarship launch event.

But that's not all, folks! After the ceremony, CM Yogi will be paying a visit to two of Varanasi's most famous temples:

  • Kalbhairav Temple
  • Kashi Vishwanath Temple

It's always heartwarming to see our leaders connecting with our spiritual roots, isn't it?

A Special Treat for Varanasi's Sanskrit Students

Hey, Varanasi Sanskrit students! You're in for some good news. Out of the 69,512 students receiving scholarships across UP, 4,239 are from our very own Varanasi. How cool is that?

And here's something extra special – students of Prathama level (classes 6 to 8) will be receiving scholarships for the first time ever. It's like a big 'shabaash' from CM Yogi to all the young Sanskrit enthusiasts out there!

The Grand Setup

The main event at Sampurnanand Sanskrit University is going to be quite a spectacle. The ceremony will take place at the Convocation Lawn, which can accommodate about 2,000 people. Imagine the energy and excitement in that crowd!

Some other VIPs joining the event include:

  • Yogendra Upadhyay, UP's Higher Education Minister
  • Gulab Devi, Minister of State for Secondary Education

And of course, the University's Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Bihari Lal Sharma, will be presiding over the function.

Safety First!

Don't worry, all safety measures are in place. The police and administrative officials have done a thorough check of the venue. They've even conducted a rehearsal with Sanskrit professors and students. Talk about being prepared!

What's Next?

After all the excitement in Varanasi, CM Yogi will head back to Lucknow at 2 PM. But the impact of his visit will surely last much longer. This scholarship scheme is a big step towards promoting Sanskrit education and preserving our cultural heritage.

So, whether you're a Sanskrit student, a proud parent, or just someone who loves our rich culture, this is definitely a day to celebrate. Let's cheer for CM Yogi's efforts and the bright future of Sanskrit education in UP!
